How to use the Grow a Garden calculator
- Choose the crop. The tool loads its base value.
- Enter weights. Type the crop's weight and its base weight in kilograms.
- Pick one variant. Normal, Silver, Gold or Rainbow.
- Tick the mutations. Select every mutation the crop has.
- Set quantity and friend boost. Add how many you are selling and any co-op bonus.
- Read the total. The result updates as you type.
Grow a Garden crop value formula
Crop value is the base value multiplied by a weight factor, a variant multiplier and a mutation multiplier, then by quantity and any friend boost.
What each part means
Weight factor. The weight ratio is squared, so a crop at twice its base weight is worth about four times as much.
Variant. Only one variant counts. Normal is 1x, Silver 5x, Gold 20x and Rainbow 50x.
Mutations. Each mutation adds its multiplier minus one to a running total that starts at one. Shocked (100x) plus Celestial (120x) gives 1 + 99 + 119 = 219x.
Worked example
A Dragon Fruit has a base value of 4,287. It weighs 2 kg against a 1 kg base weight, is Rainbow, and has the Shocked mutation. The weight factor is 4, the variant is 50 and the mutation multiplier is 100. The total is 4,287 × 4 × 50 × 100 = 85,740,000 Sheckles.

How do you calculate crop value in Grow a Garden?
Multiply the crop's base value by the weight factor, the variant multiplier and the mutation multiplier, then by quantity. The weight factor is the weight divided by the base weight, squared. The mutation multiplier is one plus the sum of each mutation's multiplier minus one.
Do mutations stack in Grow a Garden?
Yes. Mutations add together instead of multiplying. Two mutations worth 100x and 120x give a combined multiplier of 219x, not 12,000x. A variant such as Gold or Rainbow multiplies on top of that total, and only one variant applies at a time.
How much does weight change a crop's value?
Weight matters a lot because the weight factor is squared. A crop at twice its base weight is worth about four times as much before variants and mutations. At three times its base weight it is worth about nine times as much.
Which mutation has the highest multiplier?
Among the mutations in this calculator, Voidtouched is highest at 135x, followed by Celestial at 120x and Shocked at 100x. Multipliers can change after game updates, so confirm a value in game before trading.
